Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of hospitals leading the trend in the UK, having used two hybrid operating rooms since 2013 in cardiac and vascular treatment.

Surgeons and planning / project management experts will give presentations on their experiences with Hybrid ORs from a clinical, workflow and room layout perspective.  

Topics will include:  

  • What is a Hybrid OR and what does it look like?
  • What are the clinical applications and the benefits of the Hybrid OR?
  • What do we need to consider when planning a Hybrid OR?
  • Which type of imaging system and table best suits our needs?

You will also see a live transmission of an EVAR case performed in the hybrid theatre and have the opportunity to visit the hybrid rooms.
