VOLISTA wins a Janus design award
Maquet once again finds itself in the spotlight. The VOLISTA surgical light received the internationally renowned “Janus de la Santé” award from the French Institute of Design at the 61st annual ceremony.
Created in 1953, the Janus label is recognized by the French Ministry of Industry and Trade, and awards French companies in various industries such as industry, retail, living space and healthcare. More than 300 people attended the ceremony, which was held on June 30 chaired by Matthias Fekl, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade in the prestigious Quai d’Orsay.
The jury of industry peers noted its appreciation for the VOLISTA light’s aim at improving the quality of life for surgical staff. It offers extraordinary visual comfort and faithful color rendering without shadows or deformities in the visual field.
The VOLISTA surgical light has an award-winning tradition, having won the Red Dot design award in 2013.
